XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer
|
|
Exel Line - Handheld Instruments
The second generation of audio signal generators was introduced in 2007, including the Minirator MR-PRO and the digital domain surround sound generator Digirator DR2. Most recently NTi Audio presented the new handheld flagship: the XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer. The XL2 analyzer forms the unique combination of a state-of-the-art sound level meter, a comprehensive acoustical analyzer as well as a powerful audio analyzer. The wide range of functionalities is tailored for Live Sound, Installed Sound, Studios, Service and Environmental Noise measurements. It includes powerful acoustics solutions packages and the optional end-to-end STI-PA speech intelligibility measurement utilizing the NTi Audio TalkBox.
In the years before development of the famous Minstruments propelled NTi AUDIO into the handheld instrument business as it successfully launched the first member of the new Minstruments family - the audio generator Minirator MR1. This success was exceeded by the introduction of the analog audio analyzer Minilyzer ML1 in 2000, which surpassed all expectations and won many International Industry Awards for its outstanding innovation and technology. These tributes encourage NTi's team of engineers to develop and supply the market with a continuing flow of state-of-the-art measurement solutions. In 2001 the handheld series was enhanced with MiniSPL - a calibrated sound pressure microphone, and the Digilyzer DL1 - a handheld digital audio analyzer.

Production Test Solutions
In 2002 NTi Audio started to provide production line test systems for speakers, cell phones and other audio devices based on the high-speed audio analyzer Rapid Test RT-2M. Core software and technology for speaker testing was developed to create the PureSound test system, featuring an accurate and unique transducer defect testing with Rub&Buzz measurement correlating 100% with the human hearing.
Today NTi Audio provides ready-to-go test systems and a variety of customized solutions for speaker/transducer, microphone and mobile phone testing. On the hardware side, complete system peripherals are designed including the compact-sized Class 1 measurement microphones M2010 and M2015, the 10 channel input- and output switchers and other necessary hardware and software elements required for a complete test system.
All these audio test systems are supported by NTi Audio's experienced service- and sales staff worldwide. The headquarter of NTi Audio is in the Principality of Liechtenstein (Europe). Subsidiaries are NTI Americas in Portland, NTI China in Suzhou and NTI Japan in Tokyo.
