Pro/Consumer Audio Testing
 |
The RT-2M audio analyzer is ideally suited for comprehensive, yet fast verification of amplifiers and other audio devices. The instrument allows execution of virtually all possible measurements within less than one second.
Quality testing of professional & consumer audio products is an essential part in the production process and the service aspect over the life cycle of an audio product. Based on varying product needs, you may choose either basic functional tests or complete performance tests, including documentation of results. In either case, your test setup remains the same, minimizing the cost of ownership and providing maximum flexibility. |

Level Measurements
This shows a typical amplifier test setup with the RT-2M audio analyzer, whereby the resistive load (typically 4 ohm or 8 ohm) can be fitted to the amplifier output. The following level measurements are supported:
-
Fast frequency response (multitone up to 31 points)
-
High resolution frequency response (stepped sweep up to 500 points)
-
Level relative
-
Gain
-
Signal-to-Noise ratio (S/N)

Distortion measurements
The term 'distortion' generally stands for irritating effects that are audible in a sound signal. In practice, the audio analyzer RT-2M offers various methods to analyze such distortions.
- TD+N (total distortion + noise)
- THD+N (total harmonic distortion + noise)
- 2nd, 3rd harmonic Distortion
- PureSound™ transient steepness analysis

|
Interchannel measurements
The audio analyzer RT-2M enables the measurement of the following interchannel parameters:
- Fast phase measurement (multitone up to 31 points)
- High resolution phase measurement (stepped sweep up to 500 points)
- Crosstalk
