A key performance parameter of most audio devices or acoustical installations is the frequency response. Therefore, it is of great interest to have a fast, yet accurate method at hand to measure this characteristic.
The webinar introduces the so-called Fast Pink Noise approach that is based on a special cyclic noise signal and a matching analyzer sampling period. This method avoids a long settling time, while allowing to acquire a stable and precise result with 1…4 seconds. The Fast Pink Noise approach is suited for characterizing the frequency response of electronic instruments as e.g amplifiers or mixers, but also acoustic devices such as loudspeakers.
