Made in Switzerland Precision Engineering

The XL3 is a professional sound level meter and acoustic analyzer dedicated to noise measurements, room acoustics and building acoustics applications. The intuitive user interface is optimized for basic noise monitoring applications as well as offering extensive analysis tools for professionals. The sound level meter is fully networked and therefore allows operation and data access from any mobile device.
The XL3 features a 4.3″ IPS color touch display (480 × 800) that presents readings in large, clear digits and enables fast, intuitive operation in the field. The high-resolution interface supports both quick checks and detailed analysis workflows with minimal navigation effort.
Choose between white, blue, or black interface themes to match lighting conditions and personal preference, improving readability in bright daylight or low-light environments. This helps keep the UI consistent and comfortable during long measurement sessions.
A haptic keypad with eight physical buttons provides reliable access to common functions such as power on/off and start/stop measurement. This is particularly practical when working with gloves, in wet conditions, or when touch operation is less convenient.

An integrated web server and file server enables authorized users to control the XL3 and access data remotely via Wi-Fi or LAN from any standard browser. You can connect through NTi Connect or directly via the device IP on a local network – useful for building acoustics where measurements are started from a different room.
Measurement files can be downloaded without interrupting an ongoing measurement, supporting efficient workflows during long-term monitoring. This keeps the instrument running continuously while stakeholders can already review and share interim results.
The XL3 supports automatic time synchronization via NTP to ensure consistent time stamps across devices and measurement locations. Optional APIs allow integration into monitoring systems by retrieving current and historical noise, audio and weather data for automated processing and reporting.

All measurement data is stored in an open TXT format on a removable 32 GB SD card, and storage can be expanded with larger SD cards or an external SSD. In addition, the XL3 can record audio alongside measurement data, which helps confirm events and support documentation.
Configured with M2230 or M2340 microphones, the XL3 forms a Class 1 sound level meter for precise, standards-based measurements. High-performance sampling up to 96 kHz / 32-bit and a frequency range of 0.3 Hz to 40 kHz also support infra- and ultrasound investigations.
Beyond sound level measurement, the XL3 supports spectrum analysis, reverberation time, sound insulation, and STIPA applications in one platform. This allows acousticians to use a single instrument across noise measurement, room acoustics, and building acoustics tasks.

This sound level meter builds on the latest processor and display technologies to provide a comfortable user experience.
High-performance hardware packed in a robust housing offers precise 96 kHz data sampling in 32-bit resolution. With a frequency range from 0.3 Hz – 40 kHz, the XL3 is prepared for infra and ultra sound measurements.
With single-range measurement and the automated sensor detection reading the electronic data sheet from the connected measurement microphone, the XL3 Acoustic Analyzer is indeed the equivalent of a Swiss Army knife for noise measurement professionals.
