With this document we would like to give you an overview of the processing of your data and the rights you have under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as "DSGVO") and the Liechtenstein Data Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as "DSG"):

This document is originally written in German. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the German version and the English, the German shall be the governing and prevailing version.

Collection and storage of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of use

As described in this document, we only process necessary data. This may differ depending on the nature of your contact with us.

If you contact or request information from us, we collect, in particular, the following information:

  • personal details (eg salutation, first name, last name)
  • address & contact details (e.g., company address, email address, telephone number)
  • all other information necessary for the provision of our services to you or the performance of our obligations

The collection of this data takes place

  • to identify you as our customer;
  • in order to be able to advise you adequately, to provide our services, or fulfill our obligations;
  • for correspondence with you;
  • for invoicing;
  • for the settlement or assertion of or defense against any existing (liability) claims.

Without this data, we are generally unable to establish or maintain a customer relationship. It is possible that we process data that has not been collected directly from you, but, for example, has come from other stakeholders.

The data processing is always based on your request and is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the stated purposes (fulfillment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual actions) for the appropriate processing of your order and for the mutual fulfillment of obligations under the contract.

Your data may also be used to fulfill legal obligations (Article 6 (1) c DSGVO) or in the public interest (Article 6 (1) (e) GDPR), in particular to comply with legal and regulatory requirements (eg DSG, persons and Corporate Law (PGR), General Civil Code (ABGB).

In addition, your data will be processed by us or by third parties for the protection of legitimate interests (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR) for specifically-defined purposes, in particular for the performance of a contract with a third party and to protect the data, as well as IT security and IT operations.

Your data is processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This also applies to the revocation of declarations of consent granted to us before the advent of the GDPR. However, the revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the data processed until the revocation.

We reserve the right to process personal data collected for one of the above purposes, and also for the other purposes, if these are compatible with the original purpose or permitted or prescribed by legal regulation (eg any reporting obligations).

Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data

Within our company, employees are only allowed to process data if they need it to fulfill our contractual, legal and regulatory obligations as well as to safeguard legitimate interests. Third-party personal data may also be obtained for these purposes, including, for example, those for IT services.

Transfer of personal data to third countries

A transfer of data to countries outside the European Economic Area (so-called third countries) takes place only in the context of appropriate decisions by the European Commission.

Duration of storage of personal data

The personal data collected by us will in principle be processed until the expiration of the statutory retention obligation and then deleted, unless under Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. c DSGVO due to tax, corporate or supervisory storage and documentation obligations (especially from PGR, ABGB), a longer storage seems necessary or you have consented to a more-extensive storage according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The further processing and storage may also take longer for reasons of preserving evidence, for example, during the period of applicable statute of limitations.

Your privacy rights

As a customer, or generally as a person affected, you have the right to information about your personal data at any time, in particular the origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing. You are also entitled to rectification, data transfer, opposition, restriction of processing, or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly-processed data.

Insofar as changes in your personal data are concerned, we request a corresponding notification.

You have the right at any time to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data. The assertion of your right to access, cancel, rectify, oppose, and/or transfer data may be directed to the address indicated in point 1 of this statement.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, it is possible to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Liechtenstein, the Data Protection Office is responsible for this.
