The δ-Clapper is an acoustic impulse sound source for measuring reverberation time. The special design delivers a wide frequency range, and produces a bounce-free and easily reproducible impulsive sound.
The choice of materials used in the construction, creates a low weight device, with a durable surface, for reliable and minimal-effort operation.
Robust and lightweight design
The Clapper consists of a robust plywood frame with elegant, lightweight and durable side panels, an integrated airbrake, and carefully-tuned resonators. The construction is maintenance-free.
Operation
Due to the high level (up to 128dB peak) and the proximity to your ears during operation, hearing protection is required and included in the scope of delivery. The δ-Clapper can be held both upwards and downwards and is operated by applying an ordinary force. The result is a consistent and reproducible sound.
