The Vibration Meter requires an SD card that can continuously and simultaneously store many data streams. Unfortunately, many cards available on the market are known to interrupt the read/write process for periods of more than 10 seconds. This leads to data loss in the Vibration Meter. These interruptions can occur regardless of the speed rating of the card. Even cards of the same type and from the same vendor behave differently depending on the production date. Therefore, to ensure the integrity of the Vibration Meter data recording, NTi Audio verifies every single card over a period of several days before the card is sent to our customer.
