XL2 Sound Level Meter Supports Measurements According to the WELL Standard

To quantify human well-being in rooms or buildings, the International WELL Building Institute has defined a set of criteria. This WELL certification is increasingly used as a proof of quality for buildings in which people spend regular or long periods of time.

In addition to the criteria for air and water quality, light and temperature, building and room acoustic properties are also evaluated. Thus, the measured values of ambient noise, sound insulation and reverberation time as well as sound masking systems are included in the assessment.

The XL2 Sound Level Meter supports all required acoustic measurement functions. These can be loaded by predefined profiles in the correct configuration. Examples of such profiles as well as an associated application note can be found on the NTi Audio Knowledge page on WELL.
